20th century, red glazed earthenware, six (6) dinner plates signed M.L. Owens, (10 1/2 in.) (all plates with small scratches), the (6) cereal bowls were made by Boyd Owens and are so signed (2 1/4 x 1/8 in.), (6) salad plates signed M.L. Owens, (8 in.) (several very small scratch marks), (6) saucers and (5) cups signed N. Owens, (6) coasters signed N. Owens, (6) soup mugs signed N. Owens, a sugar and cream jug, illegible mark, and a coffee mug signed N. Owens.

Melvin turned his pottery to his son Boyd in the 1970s and Boyd and his sister Nancy did the turning.

Generally good condition with a few scratches and occasional original glaze skips.
