Four Antique German Faience Steins

18th-19th century, the first is polychrome decorated in a linear style with panels of manganese alternating with a floral sprays, pewter lid not marked (9 in.) (fritting to the base rim; underside chips); the second is polychrome painted with a buck running through a landscape setting, pewter lid engraved "SAL" (7 3/4 in.) (crazing; base rim with fritting and fill; several hairlines from the top rim; dents to the lid). The third appears to be early 18th century decorated with a coat-of-arms, pewter lid and foot ring, presentation name and date "E M Klein 1857" (10 in.) (several glaze flakes to rim and handle; hairline from the rim; foot ring bent in one place). The fourth stein is painted with gnomes drinking, attributed to Schlitt (5 1/2 in.) the underside impressed with numbers, the front impressed "3/ 10 L" (good condition).
