The first early 20th c., Iran or Uzbekistan, silk on silk, embroidered suzani with panels of pink florets in lattice of interlocking blue circles, with larger floral center and corner motifs and minor leaflet borders, backed with floral printed fabric, with sleeve for hanging applied later (holes and loss, discoloration, staining) (42 x 44 in.); The second Ottoman, scarf or towel of fine linen embroidered with silk and metallic thread in a multicolored floral design to each end, reversible, one section unfinished (discoloration, stains, fraying to ends, misshaping) (21 x 50 in.); The third early 20th c., Chinese, pale pink silk chiffon piano shawl embroidered allover in a multicolored floral design, with long knotted fringe (stains, holes, brittleness) (48 x 48 in. not including fringe); The fourth 19th c., India or Ottoman, black wool embroidered with white, orange and pale blue silk forming large floral motifs within a main mihrab design, with multiple floral and embellished borders (major wear and loss to wool and silk, fading, holes and torn areas, fraying) (42.5 x 92 in.).
