Wool, flatweave; the first with rows of reciprocal ram's horn and S-curve motifs in white, red, blue, and black, with diamond border, on red field, with light red back, sewn sides, opening with braided wool edging, one diamond shaped motif embroidered to verso (wear, some small holes, stains, fraying to braided edge) (33 x 53 in.); the second in a box-like construction made from four sides and a bottom panel all sewn together at their edges, the sides in slit tapestry technique with repeating snake and tree motifs in navy, white and various reds, within multiple stepped borders, the bottom panel with simple stripes of earth tones (wear, fraying to seams) (18 x 16.5 x 37.5 in.).
