Wood fired stoneware, yellow alkaline glaze, decorated with an unglazed band below the rim over applied bosses highlighted by light colored glaze runs, the upper rim bears the potter's impressed glyph and "C" (third firing from the new kiln), the underside with three drain holes, accompanied by an optional pierced brass stand.
