Wood fired salt glaze with yellow and amber alkaline glaze, bulbous form having a footed base, a flat upper rim over wide applied handles, decorated allover with impressed diamond shapes, the domical cover features a bulb-form finial, the upper rim is impressed with the potter's glyph and "76" (76th firing).
Vase only 24 x 35 in.; HOA 40 in.
Private Collection, Virginia The overall decorative effect somewhat resembles peacock feathers.
