Attributed to Forsyth County, late 18th century, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged slat lid with loper support, bread board ends and scratch bead, distinctive divided interior with central arched tombstone prospect drawer surmounted by a small conforming drawer, flanked by four valanced pigeonholes to each side above three small drawers, the case with four graduated long drawers all lipped, distinctive boldly scalloped bracket foot base.

Top with dark staining; hinged lid with break and repair at right side; scratching and wear to interior writing surface; drawer runners and guides rebuilt; later pulls with plug holes; feet are original (right rear foot with break and repair, front right facing with 1/2 inch tip); top rear corner edges with cut/patch.
