The first Shahsevan, with soumak faces, with tree of life and star motifs in red, blue, black, and white wool, within multiple borders, band of pile-weave to bottom edge of each bag, edges in goat hair, backed with red and blue striped flat weave, with fringes (wear and loss, fraying, stabilizing stitches added) (18 x 35 in. unfolded); The second a Jaf saddlebag with soumak faces, each face featuring a lattice of hooked motifs within horizontal diamonds, with geometric borders, strip of pile weave to lower edge of each bag, backed with dark brown and blue flat weave, edged with goat hair, laced with red and yellow cording (fading, loss and fraying, hole to corners, old repair attempts) (19.25 x 32.5 in. unfolded).
