Bob Rankin is a Raleigh native and a longtime fixture of the Raleigh art scene. He graduated from East Carolina University and has studied extensively throughout Europe. Among his many accolades, Rankin is a seven-time winner of Best Artist in the Triangle from Spectator Magazine, the Independent, Metro Magazine and The Downtowner. He was awarded the Raleigh Medal of the Arts in 1992 and inducted into the Raleigh Hall of Fame in 2012.
