Red morocco boards with gilt border and title on spine, all edges gilt, with decorative endpapers and engraved frontispiece. 4 3/4 in.; [i-v], vi-viii, [1]-63pp. (Good condition with light marks and minor insect damage to boards, with edgewear, especially rubbing to corners and head/tail of spine; writing on first free endpaper, light foxing and toning, with occasional creasing and folded corners.)

Brown leather boards with gilt pattern border, gilt lettering and design on multi-color spine, with marbled endpapers and (9) total engravings. 6 13/16 in.; both [i-ii], iii-iv, [1]-260pp. with table. (Good condition; boards scuffed and rubbed with small losses to leather, spines lightly creased and with separation of spine label on 2nd volume; slight wear to hinges with bindings still very sturdy; interiors with light staining, toning, offsetting, and foxing, with occasional losses, tears, creases and folds, bookseller label on paste-down endpaper of first volume.)

Paperback in illustrated wraps, in custom green cloth-covered clamshell box with gilt design and lettering. 7 3/8 in., box 8 1/8 in.; 105pp. plus advertisements. With bookplate of Harry Worcester Smith on inside front cover. (Fair in good to very good box; front cover separated, wraps with tears, losses, and staining; insect damage at corners; interior with offsetting, staining, occasional marks and light foxing and toning, folded corners; box sturdy with edgewear and bookplate.)

In red cloth-covered decorated boards with gilt, color frontispiece, illustrated with tables and plates. 7 1/2 in.; [i-iii], iv, [1]-304pp. with glossary and index, plus advertisements. (Fair to good with edgewear, corners and head/tail of spine rubbed, spine heavily sunned; cracking at hinges with separation at back hinge and separation from textblock; light foxing, toning, and creasing to interior with loss to (1) page not impacting text.)
