Scott Upton earned his BFA from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He has studied with S. Tucker Cooke, Herb Jackson, and Dorothy Gillespie, among others. His paintings are in numerous prominent public and private collections including the Asheville Art Museum, The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, Blackberry Farms in Walland, TN, The Breakers in Palm Beach, the home of Charles Frazier, and the home of T-Pain.
