With the original 1,991 cc inline-four cylinder OHV engine and a documented full rebuild in 2019. A rack and pinion steering was added as well as a rebuilt overdrive transmission from a TR4 with full synchromesh gears. Front disc brakes, and rear drums are fitted.

Exterior originally Signal Red, with a repaint in Chili Pepper Red form a Mini Cooper paint color. The leather interior in black with white piping in the seats, and black carpet with padding underneath added for insulation. The side curtains are aftermarket aluminum with vinyl covers. Also with 3-point seat belts. A roll bar was added, and the tonneau cover is modified to fit. The headlights and interior dash lights were converted to LED. The rack and pinion conversion required the turn signal and horn to be re-located under the dash, and a 12 volt socket added. A hidden ignition kill switch was made into the heater switch. There is no heater, as it was corroded and not needed in California. Also with rear luggage rack.

A southern California car with current ownership since 1971. Used as a daily driver through college, then used by a relative for many years. Placed in storage until 2000, when a comprehensive restoration was performed with the body on. Engine and transmission have approximately 3000 miles since rebuild, records remain. All new chrome and driving lights were added, as well as an electric fan, and Petronix ignition.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.

Pirelli tires dated 2011 with 6mm tread; paint with a few areas that is lifting without any cracks; the left rear area in trunk with a patch from before 1971; two small areas on floorpan treated and repaired with patches on the interior; convertible top in excellent condition; convertible top frame straps have some wear with a complete replacement kit included; drivers door drags a bit when open or close; normal wear from age/use to interior; no other apparent concerns.
