The first, a Motawi Tileworks Lady Bell tile, 20th century, Anne Arbor, Michigan, with yellow and sage green glaze on an off white ground, marked; and two American Victorian encaustic portrait tiles, the larger by Trent Tile Company, Trenton New Jersey; the smaller a round tile by the American Encaustic Tile Company Limited, New York, both marked.

The largest 6 x 6 in.

The larger encaustic tile with losses at two corners and surface scratches and a large chip to verso, the smaller encaustic tile with minor chipping to edge; all with natural crazing.
