The first circa 1815, depicting a a dark-haired gentleman wearing black flocked coat, white cravat within black shirt points (Frame 5 x 3 3/4 in., painting 2 5/8 x 2 in.); the second circa late 18th century, the sitter with powdered wig, wearing a blue coat and cravat, on a stippled ground (Frame 5 1/4 x 3 7/8 in., painting 2 7/8 x 2 1/4 in.), both unsigned and presented behind glass in matching ebonized frame with gilt bezel and oak leaf hanging mounts.

Collection of a Gentleman

Overall good estate condition; powdered wig gent's wafer with some chipping to perimeter; dark-haired gent's wafer with some bowing. Both with minor surface wear to frames.
