Wool and goat hair, 19th c., the first mainly red with bands of decorative motifs including stars, S-hooks, diamonds, and flowers, in very dark blue, ivory, and golden yellow (3 ft. 3 in. x 5 ft. 4) (low pile, hole with repair, later but old binding to bottom edge, wear to selvages and corners); the second with chocolate brown field decorated with large elaborately decorated gul motifs, with border of hexagons and diamonds, in black, red, and ivory colors (3 ft. 6 in. x 5 ft. 8 in.) (extensive wear, areas of exposed foundation, loss, later stabilizing stitches added to top and bottom edges).
