From the Collection of Professor Roberto Severino, Washington, D.C. Aonio Paleario (Antonio della Paglia) (Italy, ca. 1500-1570) was a Christian author, scholar, and teacher who was eventually executed for his criticisms of the Church.
Boards scuffed and stained, with edgewear, spine discolored and with significant loss, yet binding sturdy; 18th-century writing with previous owner's name on free endpaper; occasional small stain or chip; pages lightly toned, clean and crisp overall.
