From the Estate of the late Jerrol R. Neupert Seattle, Washington & Cary, North Carolina

A one-owner car from new. The E28 was considered the Grandfather of M Performance cars. It utilized the same engine as the limited M535i, but in an understated chassis that was enhanced with sport seats and spoilers at the front and rear. Not only was it the largest inline 6 made by BMW, it was also revered for its longevity. Purchased from Phil Smart Inc. in Seattle, Washington on July 13, 1988. With complete service records from October 1988 until 1999 from the selling dealer. In 1999, the A/C was retrofitted to R-134. The factory tool kit is complete, and the full size spare has matching tires to the car.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.

With a repaint to front hood, fenders, right side, and drivers door due to clear coat failure; roof and rear deck lid with some clear coat missing; BMW roundels were replaced with new units; some cracking to dashboard; radio controls have static, due to oxidation; Sumitomo tires dated 2017 with 8mm tread; no apparent concerns.
