Mid-19th century, watercolor on ivory, the first of a blue-eyed gentleman with curly hair attired in blue coat (frame 6 1/2 x 5 in., painting 3 1/2 x 2 7/8 in.) the second of a woman in draped headscarf, with Italian printed paper backing, interior paper pencil inscribed London (frame 6 x 4 7/8 in., painting 2 3/4 x 2 in.), both presented in ebonized frames with gilt decorated hanger and oval bezel.

Frames with some chipping and crackle to frames; rubbing to metal elements. Female portrait with some surface grime to painting.
