Mid-19th century, watercolor on ivory, the first of a dark-haired gentleman, the interior case paper pencil inscribed 15 / Mr. John Gray, presented in an oval case, labeled to interior (case 3 x 2 1/2 in., painting 2 3/8 x 2 in.); the second of a dark-haired female in a yellow dress, presented behind glass within gilt oval matting and rectangular case (case 5 x 4 in., painting 3 3/8 x 2 1/8 in.); the third of a dark-haired female with blue dress, presented behind glass within copper matting and octagonal case, labeled to interior(case 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 in., painting 2 1/2 x 2 in.).
