Pietro Battista Borgo was a 17th-century historian from Italy. In De Dominio Serenissimae Genuensis Reipublicae in Mari Ligustico he discusses the Republic of Genoa's legal right to control the Ligurian Sea.

Vellum scuffed with discoloration, darkened spine, small stains, spine with faint manuscript and chipped label, upper board with warping; sticker and small area of writing on paste-down; pages with toning and scattered foxing, with occasional tear at margin, writing, or light grime, first two gatherings with light damp staining at corner, many leaves with creases and general waviness, one leaf with small corner loss. A good copy of this historical discussion.
