Late 19th-early 20th century, depicting masks and theatrical motifs in high relief, raised on a pedestal foot, weighted, with a silver insert (not marked, acid tests silver); paired with a reticulated dish, silver-plated copper, having neoclassical figural decoration and a scrolled rim, with central intertwining "SC" monogram; neither marked.

Cup 5 1/4 x 5 3/4 in. dia.; Saucer 7 in. dia.
