Barry Thomas is an impressionist artist based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Best noted for his canvases filled with light, energy, and rich color, he often seeks to illustrate the beauty found in nature as well as everyday life.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas on a football scholarship, Thomas moved to Pasadena, California to pursue a career as an artist. He recieved his Fine Arts degree from The Art Center College of Design and studied under the guidance of artists such as Howard Terpning, Gary Carter and William Reece. He found jobs backing backgrounds for film and animation, which then led to success as an illustrator and commercial artist. All this experience and dedication has led him to be able to paint full time, back in his home state of Arkansas.
