Italian Majolica Monumental Urn

Late 19th century-early 20th century, hand-painted in polychrome with masks and reserves of classical scenes, probably Paris and Helen, serpentine handles flank snarling masks at the mouth. A two part form, the urn is supported by a flared pedestal base, not marked. Possible attribution to Gaetano Battaglia of Naples.
