Circa 1800, likely Carpathian Elm veneer with mahogany cross banding, oak and pine secondary, two part form, ogee cornice plain frieze, upper case with two over three graduated and cock beaded drawers, the base with applied molded waist, three graduated cock beaded drawers, the drawer fronts and case sides with banded veneer inlays, straight bracket feet.

Excellent example of high grade veneers featuring book-matched panels to the case sides and banded veneer inlays.

Overall good usable condition; some small veneer chips especially at rear left edge of upper case; later feet; restoration to cornice.
