(14) pieces, England, 1806-1825, with hand-painted birds, attributed to Richard Dodson, the bodies feature classical gilt work over a white ground. The undersides with a painted red mark with crown above crossed batons and D. The group includes (2) shell form dessert plates, (3) lozenge form plates, a heart shape plate, (9) plates (8 3/4 in.).

Scattered expected wear to the gilt and light crazing; one 8 3/4 in. has an edge chip, and (3) others have restoration (one with associated crack); one lozenge form with minute chip to underside of rim; heart shape with small hairline to rim.
