German, circa 1890 or after, spring-driven, in a carved mahogany and mahogany veneered case, serpentine form with terminating in a pineapple finial, with pendulum and key, retail label for a Dutch clock seller "Th. van de..." affixed to verso of door, dial marked.

The pediment with sun fading or stripped finish, lacking original finials, some age cracking and losses to decoration, one hinge from door has been removed and the top of door attached to the cornice, lifting to mahogany veneers at apron, glue repairs to pulls, surface wear.
