Mid-19th century, quarter sewn oak case with glazed glass front door and side panels, arched hood with 13-inch unsigned hand-painted metal dial, depicting Dutch town harbor scenes, with floral and figural and gilt surround, lunette with automaton of three ships and two swans, surmounted by trumpeting angels and Atlas figure finials, brass weight driven eight day movement with brass pillars, having a long pendulum with oval bob viewed through the lower case glazed aperture, includes three weights.
