Circa 1800, enamel face "Pre Qualite" Besnard, a 'Bazouges-la-Pérouse with Roman numerals, brass repousse surround, the hood with applied arched cove molded cornice, inlaid star at frieze, conforming hinged glazed door, slide panel side apertures, the tall vertical case with applied upper molding above a branch and leaf inlay at frieze, upper hinged door with book-matched veneers, the waist with branch and leaf inlays, paneled bottom, molded quarter columns, double paneled case sides, the scalloped base with urn, branch and leaf inlays bringing together all three inlaid components to depict a potted tree; together with a pendulum and clock key.
