Novelas Ejemplares, or Exemplary Novels was Cervantes's third publication. It is a series of short stories about Spain.

Vellum with expected wear and age cracking, with bent edge and corner, lacking ties, front board mostly detached, back board secure; wear to paste-downs, areas of hinge cracking, pages heavily toned with foxing; pages with occasional edge or corner losses and tears, occasional minor stain or damp stain, small loss to I1 and V3, loss at front flyleaf, I2 with 1-in. tear at outer margin, possible removal after signature A.
