Paolo Comitolo (Perugia, 1544-1626) was a Jesuit, teacher, and theologian. Catena in Beatissimum Job, one of his best-known works, offers a Latin translation of the Catena on Job by 11th-century Greek deacon and writer Nicetas of Heraclea. It was published first in Lyon, and in Venice the following year.
