Later half bound over marbled paper-covered boards, with label and gilt on spine, all edges stained. Includes the Iliad, Odyssey, Batrachomyomachia, hymns, and poems. (2) parts in one. Folio; [36], 427, 428-499 columns, [24], [4], 380, [24]pp. Text in Greek and Latin. With index, printed marginalia, printer's device on title page and verso of final leaf, woodcut head-pieces, ornaments and initials. USTC 2092405; Grässe 3/328. (Boards with edgewear, corners bumped, sticker on tail of spine, front board nearly fully detached, rear joint rubbed with cracking starting, cracking at rear hinge, binding tight; sticker on paste-down, small stains from binder's glue; restoration to title page with visible repairs at upper and inner margins, one stamp; damp staining at margins, (2) pages adhered together, stamp on verso of the final leaf, toning and foxing throughout.)

Title page printed in red and black, with woodcut device and ornaments. (Boards with light scratches, edgewear, and staining, spine mildly creased, with rubbing to gilt and wear at head and tail of spine including small loss at tail and damage to band, two small wormholes; sturdy binding; interior with bookplate on front paste-down, wear to endpapers including fading and wormholes at hinges, partial separation of one endpaper, small stain on fore-edge, manuscript on title page and endpaper, light toning and foxing throughout, several pages with marginalia otherwise pages generally clean and crisp, lacking final free endpaper; according to WorldCat in only a small handful of libraries at time of assessment. A very good copy of this rare book.)
