Attributed to the atelier of Giuseppe Parvis (Egyptian/Italian 1831-1909), circa 1900, two part form, tall architectural framed mirror with hardwood, bone, ebony and mother of pearl inlays, pierced and relief carved panels, the lower back splash with intricate spindle turnings in a geometric design, note the verso of the upper arched panel with interior checkered inlay which is reflected in the mirror, flanked by two star shaped shelves, the base with central and banded star pattern inlays, two upper small drawers with relief carving and star inalys flanking a carved and ebonized Arabic panel, lower shelf with triple arched panels, turned spindle gallery, the bottom shelf with repeating star inlays, paneled back with inlays, turned ebonized feet.

Scattered scratches and surface rubbing; some shrinkage cracks (but stable); upper star shelves with some surface wear; one baluster spindle missing to shelf gallery; some areas of inlay loss with associated repair; a few loose pieces of inlay separated but present with the lot; later mirror.
