Fair to good; boards scuffed and worn, corners bumped, labels chipped; joints cracked, boards loose but attached, losses at head and tail of spine with additional wear to vol. 3 spine; occasional residue or stain, cracking at hinges, pages with toning, occasional wormhole, writing, damp stains at margins, and small corner losses; scattered foxing, sticker on front flyleaves, occasional small hole or tear (vol. 1 with several small burn holes), vol. 3 with first free endpaper detached. Fragile yet complete, pages overall crisp and unmarked.
