Second half of the 19th century, silk and silk chenille threads on printed silk ground, with later overpainting, depicting a harvest-time landscape with two figures and a dog relaxing among the hay, reminiscent of the biblical story of Ruth and Boaz, with hand-painted faces, hands, and sky, in antique frame.
