Wool; the first made in Afghanistan with a Bloomingdale's retail tag, brown with center poled medallion in blue and pale orange with sawtooth edges, border of stylized guls, with corner hooked motifs, goat hair selvages (3 ft. 4 in. x 6 ft.) (wear to selvages, old repair to one corner, discoloration); the second an Arts and Crafts design in red with stylized tulips, blue border with red crescents, flat weave stripes to each end, with braided fringe (2 ft. 2 in. x 4 ft. 3 in.) (good estate condition).
