18th century, shaped and relief carved crest rail, pierced and carved back splat within a shaped and acanthus leaf carved shoe, distinctive shaped upholstered slip seat, scratch bead returns, front square tapered legs with molded edge, molded stretcher base, rear down-swept legs with repeating molded edges.
