Full period vellum, yapp binding, manuscript title on spine. 4to; [12], 924, [26]pp. Roman type, in double columns; text in Latin. With printed marginalia, index, head-pieces, and decorated initials. Grässe 6/272; USTC 2084064. (Vellum with typical light discoloration, several small stains, spine darkened, small loss to vellum at yapp edge; endpapers with several tears and small wormholes, 18th manuscript; pages toned with frequent underlining, minimal scattered foxing, occasional small stain, or loss or tear at margin or corner not impacting text; a good and sturdy copy.)

Catholic Church. MISSALE ROMANUM, EX DECRETO SACROSANCTI CONCILII TRIDENTI RESTITUTUM. Lugduni (Leiden): Apud Viduam Joannis Gregoire, 1682. Later editon; stated "editio recens." 19th-century gilt tooled leather binding, raised bands on spine, metal clasps, with red bookmark ribbons and tabs, pink patterned endpapers, all edges gilt. Folio; [32], 628 (i.e. 632), c of cxxviii pages in commune sanctorum; bound at the end with 19th-century material and pages of manuscript. Roman type in red and black, in double columns; text in Latin. With frontispiece, music, numerous engravings, decorated initials, and ornaments. (Boards with scuffs and scratches, edgewear, stain on upper board, headband slightly loose, cracking at rear hinge; endpapers stained, with label about book on verso of free endpaper; pages toned with scattered foxing, occasional stain, offsetting, tiny burn mark, grime, small tear or corner loss, or small damp stain; several leaves with repairs at margins, many with tiny hole at margin; copy is clean and sturdy overall; an interesting and heavy volume.)
