Approximately 5 gallon size (although capacity mark says "6"), with a generally even medium brown alkaline glaze, highly ovoid in form, with double lug handles, one with stamp "JCM" and the second handle with the stamp "6".

Restored rim; chips to both handles and several chips to the base rim. UV light reveals two underglaze drying cracks to rim, one extending into the body in "h" shape; some scattered glaze flakes.
