The LC Smith Baker shotguns were produced by the L.C. Smith Gun Company, which was known for its high-quality double-barrel shotguns. The term "Baker" refers to a series of shotguns that were manufactured following the acquisition of the Baker Gun & Forging Company by L.C. Smith in 1913. These shotguns combined Baker’s innovative designs with L.C. Smith’s reputation for craftsmanship, resulting in a well-regarded line of firearms. Produced until the early 1930s, L.C. Smith Baker shotguns are valued by collectors and hunters for their reliable performance and classic design.

Overall fair to good estate condition, barrels have surface scratches, dent to top of left barrel, bores are pitted and moderate amounts of fouling, stock and forend have moderate field marks from age and normal use, forend has missing wood and rough edges, minor amount of play at breech.
