The first is a three gallon, marked, and has a mottled alkaline glaze with glass runs from the lug handles, attributed to Poley Carp Hartsoe (1876-1960) (11 1/2 in.); the second jar appears to be a two gallon capacity, not marked, and has a green alkaline glaze with four deeply incised lines between the lug handles, not signed.
