Circa 1880, two part form, upper beveled mirror backsplash with carved grapevine cornice, fully turned and carved Renaissance revival column supports with berry, wheat and pinecone motifs, the base with rectangular quarter sawn oak top, three convex drawers with fully relief carved mask and grapevine fronts over three hinged doors with high relief carved grape clusters and lion mask, divided and shelved interior over one long lower drawer with carved grapevine and leaf handles, flanked by repeating 3/4 turned and carved columns with mask plinth over front paw feet, on casters, unmarked.

A labeled example of this set surfaced to market this year; however, it is often attributed to R.J. Horner, of which it rivals in carved details and craftsmanship.
Refinished; overall good condition; area of marring to right side of case at bottom edge; far right door panel with shrinkage crack (but stable).
