18th-19th century, spiked iron helmet fitted with an sliding nose guard, two plume mounts and a neck shield of fine chain mail, the dome decorated with gilt floral sprays and avian motifs, above a register of elongated cartouches with nasta'liq script alternating with lobed avian medallions.
