Saxony, early 20th century, a matched facing pair of pug dog figurine sculptures by Carl Thieme, hand painted in a delicate feature enhancing palette with gilt embellishments to collar bells, anatomically correct male and female models (each 8 1/4 in.) and a figural pup of a nursing pup and mother (9 1/4 in.). All with backstamps.
