With the original 1.8 liter four cylinder engine equipped with a Weber downdraft carburetor, four- speed manual transmission, and rear wheel drive with eleven inch disc brakes in front and drum brakes in rear.
The exterior with a recent black repaint with new LE decals added. The black vinyl top is fairly new. The interior has new carpet, new beige seat covers, and door cards. The original radio was replaced with an Alpine CD player with speakers mounted in the doors.
The production period of the U.S. model LE was 1979-1980 with 6,678 black cars equipped with the LE kit. The only black cars of that period were LE models. The dealer installed options were: front air dam, LE five spoke alloy wheels manufactured by GKN, with MG hub center appliqués, silver lower body stripes, luggage rack, leather covered and padded three spoke steering wheel with a special center hub that uses the same MG appliqué as the wheels, and a Limited Edition dash plaque installed on the glove box. Toggle switches on the dash operate most of the electrical functions.

Previously sold by LLA in October 2021. With the original tonneau, boot cover and tool kit remaining in good condition. The trunk carpet has been replaced. Many mechanical improvements under the hood to include new alternator, hoses; and new clutch. The radiator appears to have been restored. Overall, the car presents well and drives nicely.
