From the Collection of a Gentleman Danville, Virginia.
Sold by Barkhouser Motors Inc. in Danville Virginia on May 16, 1963 to Walter Matherly Burnett Jr. The original bill of sale and title are present, as well as registration cards until 1985. Walter Burnett was an employee and received a $600 employee discount on the car, essentially receiving the "R Code" option for nearly free. He later became the auto detailer for the dealerships in the area, and his shop was setup near them. He kept the cars inside his garage at night, but pulled them out during the day to perform work. The current owner admired this car there for many years, until he acquired it in 2013 from the original owner. Mr. Burnett was known as a street racer, and rumored to not have lost a race in this car for many years. A cluster of switches was added under the dash to eliminate different lights as needed when fleeing into the night.

The following condition report, while thorough, is not exhaustive as vintage cars have inherent wear and imperfections. We welcome personal inspections.

The repaint with imperfections and patina, looks good from ten feet; original chrome trim with some tarnishing, and swirls; the interior presents well, with new seat covers and headliner, original door cards, and dash; the carpet appears original, and faded; no other apparent concerns.
