19th century, the first an eglomise panel featuring the coat of arms of the Order of the Garter, reverse painted mirrored glass, octagonal form, within a conforming octagonal frame (14 1/4 x 14 1/2 in.); and a coat of arms of Brighton, watercolor, gouache, and gilt paint on paper, featuring the motto "In Deo Fidemus", inscribed "Hadlow. del: Brighton", framed under glass (19 1/4 x 16 1/4 in.).
