His early life in Budapest, combined with summers spent on his grandmother's farm, instilled a profound respect for nature and history that influences his artwork. After relocating to Utica, New York, and spending time in California and serving in the Marine Corps, he settled in North Carolina in 1969. Kaszas works in various media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, and stained glass, and his pieces are held in numerous public and private collections.
