Antique Wax Portrait of a Continental Officer

19th century or earlier, pigmented wax, perhaps a likeness of Kaiser Ferdinand II or a Spanish officer, depicted half length in high relief, attired in armor with red sash, and mounted on a wood backplate, unsigned and presented behind glass within a later gilt frame.
