Original green and black decorative boards with string tie and gold and black paper label on the upper board, in box with illustrated paper label. Folio; 19, [3]pp. plus (18) plates with reproductions of works of art related to golf mounted on boards with paper labels identifying each work. "Suggestions for those who wish to Frame" tipped in on rear paste-down as issued.

This copy of the book comes from the library of Charles Fraser who started the Heritage Classic, the first PGA-level golf tournament on Hilton Head Island.

Boards with light wear at edges and spine ends, corners bumped, and slight warping to lower board; interior with light toning, occasional minor grime, rare spot of foxing, and some boards with chipping at edges, slight warping, light scuffing, and minor offsetting; half-title and a couple of text leaves slightly loose, and final tipped in leaf with "suggestions" with some waviness and a few closed tears at the outer margin; box with browning, scuffing, a couple of small stains, and significant edge wear with tears and areas of separation. A better than usual copy of the book and rare to be found with the original box.
