With a rebuilt original 1.6 liter twin cam 4 cylinder engine, featuring Stromberg carburetors, and a four speed manual transmission. It also features four-wheel independent suspension and disc brakes.
The fiberglass body features exterior paint in the likely original British Racing Green, with a likely original black interior in incredible condition, and a new black vinyl top that fits very tight. The woodgrain dash, is likely original and in great condition. The car is a minimalist design for lightness and performance so very few amenities are present. Electric windows and heater are the only options.

From the Estate of a Gentleman Taylorsville, North Carolina. Purchased in 2014, by one of the owners of Bug Eye Guys in Branford, Connecticut. Many items were addressed, before sale to current owner in 2022.
Refurbished and replaced items include: rebuilt engine, rear end seals and bushings replaced, suspension bushings, headlights repaired, reserve tank in chassis rail tested and hooked up, carburetors rebuilt (2015), Pertronix ignition added and tachometer upgraded, new flex top (2021), and new tires in 2022. New Delrin knock off stick included.

Fiberglass seat pans are slightly damaged, likely from improper floor jacking, and seat mounts are loose (captive geometry of body secures seats well, no issues in operation); fuel gauge reads just over half when full 1/4 and lower when empty, 6 gallon capacity (average 15 miles per gallon, 90 miles to tank for odometer use); speedometer is slight faster than actual; small stone chip in windshield; some chipping to RR wheel, likely from striking knock offs; some chipping and cracking to the original paint; no other concerns.
